FYI in case anyone was considering this LX 470 in Burbank:

2006 Lexus LX 470 - NAVIGATION - MARK LEVINSON | BURBANK, California | MDK International

- Truck has very faded paint on hood and roof not evident in pics
- Underbody rust is really not bad considering it's a half east coast vehicle, rust in the engine bay was a little more concerning but not a deal breaker
- Dealer only has the Valet Key and didn't realize it
- Does not have the original service book that came with the truck, it looks new like it was just replaced
- Plastic trim around windshield and roof is peeling up (may be cause for leaking concerns later on? but probably easily fixed)
- I got it inspected, needs a timing belt/water pump but is in good mechanical condition otherwise
- I found the original oil filler cap at the bottom of the engine bay and an aftermarket one was on the engine
- Interior was pretty good for a 10 yr old car but certainly not as perfect as the pics lead you to believe

Someone may wants this but I passed on it after flying out to see it. Feel free to PM if you want anymore details on it. The guys running this place are nice enough but they won't move a dime on price...as their website indicates.

Sorry you flew out to look at it, only to be disappointed. I had a similar experience a couple of weeks ago. It's amazing how clean a vehicle can look in the pictures when, in fact, it's not. Thanks for the heads-up.

Yeah it was frustrating...I didn't feel deceived just didn't live up to expectations. All works out for the best though I found a pristine 07 cruiser in Texas the next weekend. You have to travel to find a 100 it seems like...

Good looking out! Bummer you had to travel to find out it was not as you had hoped. I'm only starting my search for a 100 and will me moving to a different state soon. Hopefully I'll be able to increase my price range and time spent looking after I move and am settled in, there seems to be quite a few in the Pacific NorthWest(at least it looks that way from where I am now).

cheers
