Hey guys my car been sitting for about 2 months in the garage and the battery has died I jump started it and ever since the idle is at 600rmp and very rough on drive.
I watched a YouTube video where you do a idle reset Procedure but it didn’t work for me
on ,off ,on ,off then start the car put on hand brake and drop it into drive and wait but this didn’t help.

is there a different procedure for the LX470?
please help thank you.

edit: forgot to mention it’s a 2007 LX470

Could be the battery is shot. I’d have that checked for free at a chain auto parts place. It’s at least a good, quick, free place to start.

Anyone else might have an idea what this could be?
The car drives perfectly fine it’s just when it’s in drive the RPM is at 600 when I turn on the AC the RPM jumps to 650 and then goes back down again.
What i realized today when I stay on a red light and turn the wheel the RPM goes up a little and goes back down.

Normal behavior or no?
What should I do autozone said battery is good
Should i replace it anyways ???

You're saying that after the truck is warm you idle at a steady 600 RPM while in D? And if you turn on the A/C then you idle at 650 RPM while in D?

What was the idle before? Those numbers sound normal to me.

edit: Here is another thread with some discussion on idle: Idle Speed

edit edit: Your truck was probably idling high to compensate for dirty throttle body/mass airflow sensor. When the battery died and was later reconnected, the ECU defaulted back to factory idle speed, causing rough idle. I think you should check/clean your throttle body and MAF sensor as a starting point. I had a rough idle that was only cured by a new MAF sensor, although in my case I had a code associated with the MAF.
