some have asked for pictures of what exactly I have or don't have.

I have a single pin connector plug very close to the e-locker motor (picture 1)

I have 2 plugs coming from the axle, they are about 3 feet long. Once is the ABS plug (has gold pins) and the second is the wiring for the e-locker (picture 2)

I have a 20-pin plug in the interior of my rear drivers-side kick panel. The plug has wires in the 1, 2, 5, 6, 12, ect side of the plug leading to the front of the vehicle, but does not have the pins in the side leading to the rear of the car. (picture 3)

a detailed pic of the plug where the 1, 2, 5, 6, 12 pins need to be inserted (picture 4)

Intermediary harness pics

Here's some pics of my old UNLOCKED intermediary harness, to help out for those reading the words but not quite getting what all we're talking about.

1st pic is general harness (screwdriver is where if this was a LOCKED harness there would be 2 sockets that would plug into the locker harness) - since my picture is an unlocked harness, just one socket on harness:

This pic just shows the ends of the unlocked intermediary harness, but it's exactly how the ends of a locked harness look - this is for those trying to source one of these used, needing a pic of what to look for. Notice that the big rubber grommets are where it passes from being in the rear quarters to running exposed across the rear crossmember. As picured the lower to upper = left quarter to right quarter.

Hope this helps clear up anything I said that may have been confusing. I'm a picture learner myself.

I installed the wiring yesterday on my rig.

I stuck installed the wires into the 20-pin block as follows:

the blue/green wire in pin-1

green wire in pin-2

green/black in pin-5

green-yellow in pin-6

yellow white in pin 12

the ground wire I crimped an eyelet connector and screwed to into the interior fender metal with a self tapping sheet metal screw.

The locker does not seem to engage.

I turn my switch on the dash and I can hear the rear locker motor getting power and making noise but the light on my dash just blinks, it never turns on solid.

The front locker still works like it always has.

Anyone know what I can do to trouble shoot this?

When you turn the dial switch on the dash, did you drive the truck in a gravel/dirt/sandy pavement making figure 8 or is the truck in a steady position/just standing still?

I put it in drive and reverse and drove back and forth several feet.

There was no dirt around and I didnt want to be making turns on pavement.

(Gahh, on a friends computer again. stupid log on names...)

Okay, now try to drive it on a dirt road. Due to lack of exercises, it takes a while for the locker to engage/disengage. Go from there!

Providing everything is working, if the dog gear teeth aren't meshed you need turn one side of the rear wheel at a different rate than the other. In other words, drive in a circle.

Any update on your locker:wrench::grinpimp:?

Nope, I haven't had a chance to find dirt yet. I work thru Sunday, hopefully during my weekend (mon/tues/wed) I'll make it out to Trabuco Canyon to doing some driving and take out the mountain bike too!

IT WORKS! I finally found some dirt. I went to Trabuco Canyon. put it in "locker", drove in reverse about 5 feet with the wheel cranked and the light went solid.

Trabuco Canyon road, leading to the Holy Jim trail SUCKED! Holy crap it was bad, I'll probably never go back. Worse than a 3 mile washboard road. And it's just that , a crappy road, nothing challenging or fun at all.
