mine does not have them whatever they are, I looked at a lot of LX450's none had that

they kinda look like ugly aftermarket flip down cup holders?

Aftermarket or fabbed. Cupholders.

OR...quick-access auxiliary 6-disk cartridges for the changer.

Definitely not factory. Prolly not related to CD changer. I'd side with the "ugly cupholder" camp.

They are after market cup holders (sold in my local Toyota dealers) - could be added on using 3M double sided tape or two little screw. Pretty neat design but looks like they are mounted on a bad location (note both do not have the foldup cover, which are the main parts holding the cups once folded down).

I have one mounted in the middle that looks like that now. It worked alright till the wife fold up the middle seat to gain access to the third row and FORGOT the cupholder was opened. *doh*

Frank.

Frank,

The same accident happened to me. Just call 1800spillfree for repair information. I think it cost me $10 a cupholder to the R&R.

Yep, definitely cup holders, but they're missing the flip-up bottoms. I've mounted one on my canoe . You can pick up the single version at Boaters World for like $6.

hmm they are much more atractive with the covers on,

is that a power port on mounted on your stock cupholder? that is nice, I leave my phone on the carpet near the parking brave but the charging coard is strung all the way to the dash, that would be a nice mod, even better would be to hard wire it under the console with just the cord coming out

Yep! I have two power points mounted at that location. The one facing up in the picture is mounted to the cupholder and is used to charge the phone. That mounting location is useful since it can be used to charge the phone being used in any of the 4 outboard seats - my wife rides in the back with the baby and has the same phone as me.

The other power point is just below the one in the picture. It is mounted on the center console and faces rear. It runs the Peltier cooler box (the shining thing below the cupholder is the lid of the cooler) to keep the baby bottles (and diet Coke) cool.

I thought about the putting another power point inside the center console, but my console is so full of stuff that I can't even fit a power point in there.

I have two more power points - one below the dash on the passenger side and one more in the cargo compartment.
