In that case yes it should help a lot. As long as you avoid LT-Metric tire construction and their required higher inflation pressures anyway.
Yeah looking at defender ltx ms2, but not the e metric option. My occasional off-road use is 90% washboard gravel, not rock crawling.

Ok, now for the true conclusion.

If you have an LX 570 and are unhappy with the ride, I would very strongly recommend changing to 17-18” wheels. I swapped to 200 series takeoffs and Michelin defender ltx m/s 2 in the oem size for the wheels (xl, not e load). That and a properly done road force balance made all the difference, discount tire never spent the time to do an adequate job despite having the equipment, so I took it elsewhere and the difference was obvious at highway speed.

Rides very well now at city and highway speeds (the roughness over small bumps is gone) and still works as expected on washboard gravel. Of note, it doesn’t drive quite as smoothly as a new rav4 on imperfect highway pavement, but having driven several contemporary lx 570s, that seems to be totally within normal limits for the full sized truck platform (also it is still dramatically smoother than a 2023 suburban I recently rode in).

Great news. Sounds like you’ve got a good ride now.
