Yes, we made sure to have it in writing before they had the chance to fix all the issues. We thought it was absurd for a CPO vehicle with 18k miles that supposedly went through a "146 point GMC inspection" to have DVD issues, rattling during acceleration, engine misses during idling, not shifting gears while passing on a 2 lane highway, and all kinds of clunks and thuds while turning the steering wheel. Not to mention the struggle the power steering seemed to have turning the wheels.

Ok guys, looks like we're going to pull the trigger on a 2011 LX 570 with 69,700 miles for a sales price of $40,990. It is a Texas one owner truck that has all the service records at the same Lexus dealer. We finally got the GMC dealership to buy the POS Acadia back for the original sales price.

Are you buying the one at advantage Bmw midtown?

I take it you have been looking in that area also?

Ohh yes started to look for a LC or LX for the past 3 weeks. i ended up getting a 2011 with 78k miles from a private owner at north side Lexus this evening pretty much with trade in price. Bet you love your LX!

Nice! Congrats man. We haven't bought the silver one yet. I just got the deal worked out today. I haven't laid eyes on it yet or drove it. I was impressed with its service history. I'm
Just trying to figure out how and when we can get it. We live about 3 hours north of Houston on I45. You didn't happen to go look at this one did you?

Thanks! No I have not look at it in person, I was going to and ran into the black one I bought this evening on autotrader last night. Paid $36300 for it 1 owner dealer maintained truck. I used credit union to finance, fantastic rate with 1.99%. Way better than my bank and from Northside lexus, they wanted 2.99% for it with 20% down and I financed 100% with my credit union. However Nxess always carry very clean vehicles, looked at some Lexuses at their showroom in the past and actually bought a 96 LC from them many years ago.

that one at Nexcess is clean and look well cared for - it drove very well but might need an alignment. Short of that its very nice and I know they've had it for over 3 months and suspect Michael is looking to move it....

Ranma21, what credit union did you use??? That's a unheard of rate for a used vehicle!

RS6tofj80, thanks for the deatail! Im glad someone drove it and looked at it. I'm curious as to why you didn't purchase?

I use Houston Federal Credit Union (HFCU), the rate applies for new and used vehicles. If you finance for 3-4 years, I remember the rates is 1.79%, 4-5 yrs 1.99%, 5-6 years is 2.59 and 7 yrs is 2.99% with credit score of 730 or 740 and up. No restriction on the age and mileage of the vehicle. Much better than bank and dealer finance. You can practically get approved within minutes if you bring the required doc such as tax return, pay stub etc. friendly and easy. Pm me if you need further info. So you can basically get the whole process moving quickly once you are approved with loan, go to the dealer, signs few papers and you are out the door driving home. ;)

Age before beauty. Finally went and picked up the 570 today. So far very happy with the purchase. Thanks again to all for the replies and helpful information!
