Lx 470 Transmission error P0771 after rebuilding (1 Viewer)

I just rebuilt my transmission and now the car has issues shifting from 1 to 2 to 3. I accelerate, engine revs and gears engage with a hard thump. Once it shifts to 4 and 5th gear car runs smoothly. Computer error is P0771 solenoid E. It’s a 2004 Lexus LX 470.

Were you able to get it fixed? I'm seeing P0771 code on a 2003 LX. No hard shifts, everything else seems normal.

add a half quart and drive/check again.

What was your resolution? I'm getting this code now, and occassionally P2714.

I’m also getting this code as well as P2714. My 2004 LX is also going into limp mode with a CEL. Anyone experience this?

Thank you! Sounds like I have some digging to do. Gonna start with the simple fix and check the fluid level/cleanliness. I’m hoping it’s an easy fix
