I just picked up some Slee sliders from Craigslist. They are the 3 mounting point ones for the Land Cruiser. I know that they won't bolt right up to my '99 LX with AHC. I was wondering if anyone had the measurments from the LX Sliders? Front to back, mounting arm spacing, etc.

I am looking to modify the Land Cruiser ones so they will bolt up to my LX.

Pictures would help also if anyone has them! Thanks!

FWIW, I just installed the Slee Step Sliders to my 2007 AHC equipped LX470. These are two arm mount versions and you have virtually no adjustment room, i.e., the mounts only fit one place on the frame due to the ACH plumbing. Driver side required loosening the bolts holding the brake and AHC lines to mount the C-clamps and the removal of the AHC electrical connection rock guard (both on driver's side, only front on passenger). No big deal they can be remounted with one screw and the other end skipping under the slider mount. Basically very tedious, but works. Sliding the mounts under the plumbing and getting the C-clamp routed into the mounts is a pain, but seems to have worked.

No sure where the middle mount will fall with yours, but I'd check the driver's side first with some jack stands as it's a tighter fit than the passenger side, as it has more plumbing to work around. The interesting thing would be knowing how the plumbing has changed each year with the LX470s.

I like my AHC, but was really wishing for a chassis without it this afternoon. ;-)

Emails I had with metaltech gave me the impression that their ahc version of the passenger side could still use 3 arms and that the driver side was limited to 2.
