I just saw on Brian's homepage that the new small Landcruiser 2003 is the Lexus 470. I thought that model is based on the LC 100 and not on the LC 90.

I know that the LC 90 (Prado) was never sold in the US but then there would be no Lexus based on the LC 100 ????

Who knows the details ???

There is a GX470 and a LX470. The GX is based on the 4Runner, and the LX is based on the TLC.

I was under the impression that the GX is based on the 120 series which is the replacement for the 90. The LX is a 100.

I think you are correct sir.

Well, the 4Runner has the 4.7l V8, Torsen center diff, multi-link coil rear, and IFS junk up front. It also has the fancy hill gadgets. The GX has all of that plus ride height control.
