Lx 470 2002, costa rica, runs great, just replaced rear sway bar bushings and front wheel bearings. 90000 miles, I think it has been rode hard and put up wet. One of the heater hoses ( between the engine and firewall, passenger side) has been plugged on the down side and a metal barb connecting the other two hoses. I do not need a heater. Still blows hot air from the dash when set to do it. I assume the rear heater hose or exchanger had a problem and they just plugged the line. I still have a plastic tee on the driver side. Can I just plug the hose going down from the driver side tee and fuhgttaboutit? Repeat, I do not need heat, have enough in costa rica what I need the most is reliability.
