I have a 2004 LC, I have searched and read the threads on this site and still have one question.

Both of my lumbar supports don't work, I have a hard time believing that both motors or both switches went out. Is there a seperate fuse for just the lumbar switches?

Got it, found out there is no seperate fuse but how do you test the switch? I pulled the switch and have been to several places here in Austin, TX. and no one can or knows how to test it. Can the dealership do it?

How do you test the freaking switch?

Easy. You can test a switch either by unplugging it and checking for continuity with a multimeter or jumpering with two probes (paper clip).

Thanks for the link but the connection on the lumbar switch has 4 brass tabs. Which two tabs do you touch with the probs to test it?

I think it would matter?

WOW, that is awesome Trunk Monkey, thank you for the diagram.

I am terrible with electronics, this should help greatly.

Thanks again.

I too have had a BIG PROBLEM getting a useable FSM. I fumbled around on pdftown, but could never figure out how to select the right file or activate its download. After literally clicking randomly, I got a download — "2004_LC_FSM" — that contains at least a good part of a 2004 FSM. The file contained 26 separate chapters. Each of the chapters has its pages in scrambled rather than in sequential page order.

Is there a better organized file I can get somewhere. I am not ungrateful for the free info, but is it very much less than optimally useful due to the scrambled page order and no overall index that I can find.

ANY HELP gratefully received!!

John
