So, today I'm going to install my Gamiviti flat rack onto my hundo. I can't believe I found this thing on CL for 85 buck! Got the tower braces in from Gamiviti yesterday and it's time to get started.

Install of the towers was pretty straight forward. It's important to let you guys know to silicone the bolts before installation to avoid water seeping into your head liner. Hardest part was cutting the channel covers (used a Dremel) to expose the 12mm bolts you'll need to use for the 3/4 rack. Pics soon.

$85 for a Gamiviti??!! Holy cow! That's a GREAT deal. I'm looking at doing a full sized one on my LX this summer. Top-notch construction on those things.

So, I decided to snorkel it up before lifting it this summer. Went with the budget friendly EBay snorkel. I just completed the install, so I'll have to come back with testing.

I like that ranch road 12 sticker. I graduated from TXState in 2007, drove that road all the time.

That's my mom and my two sister's alma mater, my friend. Being from South Texas, I can tell you New Braunfels, San Marcos are still places I love to go and visit.

I ordered plastic speed mesh off ebay to insert into the center of this pig. Start by lining up your sheet of mesh to the back of your cutout. Mark it and trim away the extra with some dikes. Careful to not overcut, as you want your mesh to match nicely with your grill.

What plastic mesh did you order? Do you have a link by chance?

I ordered 16" by 48" black plastic speed mesh or honeycomb mesh off ebay. I tried to bring up the link, but the link for the one I ordered had expired. I just typed it into the search on Ebay though and found quite a few vendors carrying the same stuff. You can do aluminum if you'd prefer, but I just figured the plastic would be a little easier to work with.

This link is for aluminum black mesh. It may work for you, but check the height of your grille. Again, I used 16" by 48" and had to do a bit of trimming, so this 12" x 48" may suffice.

I wished someone would start making grills like this for the LX 470s!
