Thought here it's the best place to ask ..

Someone with LTB 40" on 16" or 17" wheel ( only 2 options available  ) after quite time looking and deciding for tires .. I put 'em in my list ( along with the GY Kevlar ) have a reasonable price the only const is I call Interco today and they will be in production in August .. that means will be on sale for Oct .?

Tip where to get 'em .?

Call Interco yesterday and they said will be back on production in August .. so I'm looking for 4 deadstock ?

Ill have a peek around but ntwonline.com probably.

There's a fella by the name of Jim in the RMLCA who runs them on an fj45 and likes them alot. He says they are loud on pavement and wander alot more than an all terrain, but he runs them on the summer and winter trails and daily drives them.

FYI.....GY is phasing out alot of the MT Kevlar so they are getting cheaper. Keep your eye on them

Thanks .. good info .. I'm liking a lot the Kevlar design .. but honestly for us what really work are swampers ..

I've been on phone with every tire shop I know .. from 4Wheel Parts to Sam's shop and still no luck ..

Huh, any thoughts on the military xml or zml tires?

I see they are pretty cheap on pirate4x4 through 100dollarman, and should wear like iron.

There was a set of 38" ground hawgs on kijiji in lethbridge for like $350 the other day. Not really what your looking for but cheap.

Michelins are good if you are concerned about using 'em a lot on road or on heavy truck .. it's not our case, we are usually looking for best offroad ( I mean mud ) tire .. that would not see many on road miles really ..

After the mayor problem that had interco years ago .. was a huge bummer they still don't have all the tires back on production .. or up to demand ..

what about the iroks? Im thinking the LTB's are probably a pinch friendlier on pavement, but they are priced decently and available.

I'm not ( not at all ) fan of Iroks .. fast wear, not really much traction ( compared with boggers and TSL / LTB ) and bouncy tire ..

For the record .. there is no LTB available at the moment .. in fact .. limited TSL offer in sizes around 40" looks like the swamper stock it's dry out at the moment and until August / Sept at least ..

Go Boggers.....40" and skinny. Groove or sipe them if you want more bite.

That should be great choice .. the issue here is .. " there are not swampers " available to buy right now ... :frown:
