Usually when cold, my 91 3FE equipped Cruiser will hesitate a bit, requiring more throttle and a knock which sounds as if it is coming from the front diff. To make sure it was not the engine knocking, I've put it in neutral and revved...no hesitation, no knock.
Also, after the truck is warm, the knock does not occur.
So thinking it's the diff/axle/driveshaft or it's the transmission?
Wondering if this is a common occurrence or if I am overlooking something else entirely...which is possible.
