Anyone ever been to Lost Lake, or that area?

42.314195,-122.557071 - Google Maps

Looking for any tips for getting in/out. Looks like from the west side is the best bet, but I know it can be deceptive....

What makes it worth the trip??..............Lost Lake Titty Club..??

Well we're gonna try and go this Sunday...might be an adventure.....

I believe I went to this lake as a cub scout back in the 1800's. We took logging roads to a landing and then hiked down to the lake. I would guess its a half mile in. The trail goes passed the lake and I believe follows a river coming outta the lake and has a innertube slide/swimming area....but I'm not certain as it was 20+ years ago. Sounds like fun, take pics!

Yeah he's got some gigantic huevos! They're burned into my brain! So jealous!

Get Dr. Maphisto to do a transplant! It would be fun watching you chase cars afterwards.....

We're thinking about tagging along on Sunday providing the weather is good and you bring your dog. I can walk behind him and poke his man-parts with a stick. It'll be like a mobile fleshy pinata! Poke-Poke-Poke-BARK-Poke-Poke-BITE! Ouch!

You can tag along....as long as you don't start poking my man parts. I tend to bite back in .40 caliber bites.

Weather is supposed to be perfect. High of 73 in the valley, so prolly high 60's up there.

I think we were planning on rolling out from CP at around 1 PM, so ya'll get a chance to sleep in after partaking of the massive alcohol order that's going to be distributed.

Weather was great for a nice drive and a hike.

It's not far. About an hour, maybe an hour and a half if you're going slow.

It's pretty much forest service road the whole way in. There's a small section that's somewhat technical, mostly just involves being careful and maybe getting a spotter to make sure you don't drag. No problem for me.

There's a pretty steep hike to the lake (about 15 minutes). Lake is very small, but nice. Has a pretty good shoreline pretty much all the way around it.

Didn't do any fishing (not much for trout), but some other folks there were there were catching lots (mostly 6"-10" in size).

Couple of pics.

Overlook on the way to the lake:

Fall has come to the area:

You can see about half the lake in this pic:

Very nice. I'll have to check it out someday. On the way to Klamath ??

Kinda, you take 140 to get there. It's really not very far outside Medford tho. Would make a nice day trip.

From the map looks like Dead Indian Road may actually work out closer. May try that some day for a quickie overnighter. A couple dead mice on a big trebble will land you the biggest trout in no time. Probly not legal but a way to see how big they really get in there. ;) Few things better than fresh fried trout !

Crap, just saw you can't actually wheel all the way to the lake huh?
