I’m saddened at the thought of having to post this thread but here we are. The 100 series LC has been a dream of mine to own since they were new. I was always fond of the 60 and 80 series but the 100 series added the creature comforts that those two always lacked, I felt. I’ve only owned this truck for a few months and from the day I got it I knew I would own this rig for a long time.. however, fast forward to the last couple of days and, well, some life changes have made it that having a dedicated “toy” isn’t as practical as it once was and I am forced to part ways with this great rig.

On to the details. It’s a 2005 100 series Toyota Land Cruiser in Thunder Cloud Metallic with right around 170,500 miles. I’m the 3rd owner. The majority of its life (~the first 160k miles or so ) was spent with the original owner in Arizona. From what I know, the original owner was a Navy surgeon from AZ who initially used this vehicle as his primary vehicle before switching its role to the family road trip/vacation vehicle. Most of those 160k first miles were highway miles. The ARB front and rear lockers, front and rear bumpers and sliders were all installed at Slee Off-road in Colorado. The 2nd owner put around 10k miles on it in Southern California, where he continued the high quality upgrades at another very reputable Land Cruiser shop, RPM Garage in Monrovia, CA. And I put approximately 1k miles on it since I bought it and continued servicing it at RPM Garage as well. (Recently had it baselined and had the ARB lights installed and a few maintenance items taken care of). All of the repairs, maintenance and upgrades have been well documented and all receipts will be going along with the purchase. Unfortunately during my ownership, I never had a chance to really test out the true potential and capabilities of this well sorted out 100 series. The miles I put on it we’re just highway miles on a few road trips with the wife. This Land Cruiser was setup properly, well thought out, using only the best of the best parts and worked on by arguably the best of the best shops. It is ready for any adventure and road trip and will be able to tackle any trail since it has all of the off-road ready upgrades and mods. In addition, you won’t have to worry about any maintenance for a while since all of the maintenance items, including timing belt (done at the 150k mile mark along with the water pump) fluids, brakes, lighting, and cooling system have all been recently addressed.

Here is a detailed breakdown of all the options the Land Cruiser comes with along with all the upgrades and modifications done to it throughout the years:

18-inch stock alloy wheels (Also comes with 18” Tundra steelies that are currently mounted on the Land Cruiser)
Sunroof

Heated and power-adjustable front seats
Third-row jump seats

I also have a home made sleeper platform that I built, very similar to the ADGU SS1 that I will throw in with the sale.

As you can see from the above, there has been a lot of high quality parts and a lot of thought that went into the build. It’s tough posting this wonderful rig for sale but I’m hoping the next home will allow it to be driven and taken on adventures like it was meant to do. I’m happy to meet in person to show the LC locally and also can arrange to come to you if you’re not too far. Similarly if you’re out of state feel free to reach out and we can video chat. Any additional pictures can be had at your request as well.

Price: $34,250

Wasn’t this on BAT a little bit ago?
It was posted on here prior to the auction...haven't dug up the old thread though. 🧐

Always was impressed by this rig when we went wheeling with Jon...I'm in SoCal area - can I come by to see it tomorrow? Extremely interested in buying it from you!

Harry, could you send me a PM, not sure I can as I just joined to message you on this 100. Thanks.
