Who rebuilt the carb? How do you know it's the Carb that's causing you're trouble?

Have you gone through your entire vacuum lines to make sure they're all in the right place?

thanks for the replies. Mark rebuilt my carb! i think i can eliminate the carb as the problem...

Did you use the rubber block under the carb between the intake manifold and carb? Did all mating surfaces on the intake and the block look clean and smooth? I would guess you have a vacuum leak.

X2 and what about the gaskets...did you hook up the idle solenoid?
