That is LUBE I mean. Since I am hoping to open up at least my rear to install a locker, and maybe the front just to do a service(?) don't you think it would be a good idea to get some gear oil in quantity? What would you recommend and how much? Including having a little left over for, you know, extra? :)
 
i have been buying it by the pail lately.

5 gal for i think 75-80$

call colvin on s. stage rd or hays on bateman off table rock
 
Holy s***! And how many 5 gallon pails per axle? Please tell me 5 gallons will do both. BTW, I have more work for you if you want. I'll PM.

i would assume the 9.5 is about 2.5--3 qts per.

my mini takes like 3.5 gal to relube the axles and trans and duals.

After trying to squeeze lube in out of some quart bottles i went and bought the 5 gal pump and 5 gallon bucket of lube ( I went with synth).. Worth it for sure..

I think I'll put that bucket on a top shelf somewhere and run a hose with a valve for gravity feed. Might have to make sure the sun is shining on it so I don't wait an hour for a quart.;)

OK, copy that. When I went to order the locker I was about $3 short including shipping !! You believe that s***? I was gonna have them split it up on two cards but I can wait another week. Aric, what's HF ? They have the oil and stuff?

Get a pump that you can chuck a drill onto, they usually have garden hose size fittings on them, so you may need a reducer to get it down to a smaller hose size, but they are awesome!

i just went and picked up one of these pumps a couple days ago.

i will save you some time, isle 7 with the plumbing stuff.
 
Just got back from HF. Got the basic pump but will need the hoses. Also my locker showed up tonight. Not what I expected. It came in a very small box. ?? Just a couple metal plates, springs bearings etc. Sure doesn't look like $299 worth of metal! Glad it arrived though. :)
 
What, where's the rest of the locker???????? There should be a couple pulleys and a length of cable, half a dozen 30 penny nails, a small anvil, whips, chains, whistles, yoyo's, my grandmother riding by on a bicycle giving me the finger, and a duck.

Nope, that sounds right... $299, yup!

(Aric, lets just Lincoln lock it while he's serving lunch, and we'll sell the locker for profit???) :cheers:

:lol: Try ARB next time, you will get all the hoses, compressor, metal bits to boot...... at 2+yrs of plasma to give. :p
