I'm want to buy a '90-'95 toyota pick-up 4x4. and was wondering what kind of things to look for. looking to spend 10k.

...The V6 headgasket will need to be replaced , if it hasn't already . Check the VIN with a dealership , maybe they'll know if it was or not . Also , you will want to ensure that the gasket was the improved version .... it should be done for you under an extended campaign ... and they'll probably suggest doing the timing chain etc while they're in there ....

I second everything Tyler just said, depending upon where you are, rust can be a big problem with these trucks. Try to find a truck with the SR5 package, it comes with the 31" tires and all the interrior bells and whistles.

well even the older ones are great i love mine !if that helps at all.

If you are looking to spend $10k, I think you could get a Tacoma instead (95.5-Present). You get away from the head gasket i$$ues, and get the stronger and better 3.4 V6.

Just my .02
