Looking for vehicle appraisal North County San Diego

Anyone ever use one? Recommend one? I'm looking at San Diego Auto Appraisers.

I'm finding cost of appraisal between $200-$300 per vehicle locally from a few different companies. Anyone have experience with a company in San Diego cheaper than that? This would be for insurance purposes to get the vehicle covered for what it appraises at rather than Kelley Blue Book.

Never worked with an appraiser so unfortunately I can't be of much help. You may want to try posting your question in the forum classifieds as you'll likely get a larger pool of people, especially if you widen your search to include LA.

Was hoping to keep local but may need to expand. There are a couple national appraisers with offices in many cities.

I never ended up pulling the trigger. Talking with my insurer (Farmers), in reimbursing a vehicle they don't just look at KBB but fair market value according to Auto Trader/ Craigslist, eBay and also the stacks of maintenance/mod paperwork I keep. I'm just planning on not having to deal with insurance.
