I have my new tank in the truck and setting on the floor. The vague drawing and instructions show cutting the center section over the transmission cover and then add a new piece to finish the span. It also looks like the leg is cut off and used to support the DS extension to replace the triangle piece that would have supported the outside of the DS seat.

Has anyone installed this tank if so phots would be appreciated. I also intend to put a aftermarket center console along with bolting the inside of each seat to the support.

I found at Man A Fre photos of a set support system that is made for this tank and has some Toyota parts and will accommodate a console.

I could fabricate the bridge but cant bend the square tubing. I put a couple of feelers out to see if it is available and is compatible with stock seats.

the passenger side outer and the driver side outer bracket look the same, which also look like a passenger side stock 40 seat bracket
the center one looks very similar if not the same as a stock 40

I would try and find 2 of the passenger side brackets and 1 center and make those work

you most likely need 4 of the tall rear brackets also

I most likely have all of those stock brackets

here are some pics from a few weeks ago
bottom L bracket is the passenger side outer, replace the driver side triangle with another of the passenger side and the center curved piece
last pic is the tall versus short rear mounts
I think 2 pass, center and the 4 tall ones and you make the rest, that is what the above pics show.

I have the PS support leg and cleaned it and painted it today. Will start searching for another on to use on the DS and will only need to drill through the floor and bolt it down.

I like the use of the flat bar to span front to back so I will cut four and drill bolt hoses and use the existing holes that the seats bolted to and then I can move the seats back as much as possible for as much leg room as I can get. Then I can put crossmembers in the center for an after market console. The stock is not going back in it sat way to low and was not much use other than catch everything.
Yesterday I was doing some test fitting with tank on the floor and the stock center support may work but with only one bolt on the PS and the other foot will slip under the tank and figure out a way to stabilize it.

The center support had to bends and the mounts for the seats were not on the same plane on two axis so worked on that with a vise a NAPA and then came home and set on timbers and beat it up with a 20# sledge.

This is what I have to work with for now. PS support leg. Have had the PS support on the floor just not bolted and there is plenty of clearance.

Center support before getting the kinks out.

The DS support

The seat pedestals are still attached to the seats at the shop and looks like the Man A Fre photos they did not need to raise the rear.

Curious how high the center console will be with the console on top of the seat frame? With this style seat base the console was lower and sat next to the fuel tank not on top of it.

I don't know yet but I want it high enough for me to be comfortable.

At best my plan will only raise the seats and console about 1/4". If that is not high enough I can raise the console to suite me. The old console was not much higher then the seats,

I am going to bolt the flat bar to the supports and the rear pedestals with enough length to move the seats back so I can get the most leg room possible. Drill new holes and bolt the stock seats to the flat bar.
