Looking for Parts Advice – 1995 KZJ71W LandCruiser Prado (Australia)

Hey everyone,

I own a 1995 KZJ71W LandCruiser Prado, and I’ve been wanting to start fixing it up and doing a few mods—but honestly, I’m a bit lost on where to find parts here in Australia.

Recently had a minor accident, so now I have to replace the entire front bumper (I’m considering upgrading to a bullbar while I’m at it). There’s also a dent on the rear right panel, just above the tail light, and I’ll need to replace that rear light too.

I know a lot of parts are available in Japan, but I’d prefer to avoid importing if I can.

My main questions are:

• What aftermarket parts (like bullbars, panels, lights) are compatible with the KZJ71W here in Australia?
• Are there any direct-fit options that don’t require hunting down JDM-specific parts?

Any help or direction would be hugely appreciated!

Hello,

There are aftermarket lights available from eBay. You can get OEM lights from the local dealer, but they cost more.

From the windshield back, the body has not changed much over the years. A rear panel from another 70 /71/75/78 Series will fit. 76/77 Series station wagon and 75/79 Series pickup/ute do not fit.

Regarding bull bars, check the distance between frame rails. A bulbar that matches this distance will fit.

In a nutshell:

1. Check frame rails distance before finding a suitable bull bar.
2. With the exception of pickup/ute and station wagon models, body panels from other 70 Series will fit. Some fabrication/fitting may be necessary.
3. Aftermarket and OEM lights are available, either from eBay or the local dealer.
