Anyone live near the I-85 corridor from Kings Mountian to the Ga. border? I'm looking for the cheapest gas. Heading to ATL tomorrow, and gas in my area is past the $3 barrier. Thanks in advance.

Keep an Eye out for prices in the Gaffney Area. Usually pretty cheap. Also, the Racetrac at Exit 19B, Clemson, is usually pretty cheap also.
Gas along the I-85 corridor doesn't really drop until you pass the NC / SC state line heading south (thanks to the superfluous taxes us N. Carolinians have the privilege to pay).
As Tim mentioned, Gaffney is usually pretty good as are Spartanburg and south of Greenville towards Anderson / the GA border.
I've been stopping at exit 95 or 96 at the Petro Express in Gaffney. It's the cheapest I've found on that commute.

yep tim is right...........exit 19B the race trac is usually the lowest in our neck of the woods

Gas in GA is also cheeper ouside of Atlanta.. cant remember exit but close to SC border.
The gas station at the shopping mall near Gaffney, might be exit 90, is the cheapest gas between Charlotte and Atlanta.
