looking for GPS maps for Central/South America

I'm wondering if any of you out there have found decent maps covering Central and South American countries - to whatever detail - preferably Garmin compatible, but not essentially...

I have the colombian maps... but i bought them from some guy i that needs to have your GPS serial number in order to unlock them. Lemme know if i can help!

I have detailed street maps for all of brazil, let me know if you need em and I'll dig up where I found them or send em to you. They were legally free as far as I know

also some Chilean guy gave me this site... GPS de Argentina y del ConoSur if you can do the espanol then it's probably the best resource... should have lots of free latin america maps.

If you find a site for Central America let me know! I've been used paper maps scanned into OziExplorer.

For paper maps www.itbm.com is best.

Central America GPS Maps

I used the map products these guys produced for my trip to Nicaragua and found the maps to be pretty helpful. That was in 2008 and I'm sure they've improved since then. I down loaded from the internet site and loaded on to my Garmin Nuvi - worked just fine. They're constantly adding new maps so they may have what you're looking for.
