For some reasons the WTB in classifieds is not working so I will put a post hear with my 45 brothers.

Looking to replace the passengers side door glass on a RHD 45. I have included a few pictures with measurements, it is a newer style door with the bug catcher vent window. This is on a 82 model 45. I was going to convert to a full window glass less the vent window but that vent window is a keeper in the summer.
The glass I have now has about 30-40 very bad vertical deep scratches that cannot be buffed out from the last PO not replacing the felt and side seal in the door channel. Anyone that has a matching door glass sitting around minus scratches and like to sell please PM me. Thanks

Why not get them made up with tinted glass easy job as there flat glass and you have them out already.

Yeah good question, that would be a good way to go but I tried that and was told three places that it is an old standard Japaneses glass thickness that is no longer used in today's market. In other words back in the day Toyota had there own standards for glass thickness now most all is universal thickness glass wise, so if I had one made it would be thinner or thicker and not fit the channels making it loose or tight. I have been looking around on the web for custom made glass and pretty much come up with zip. I forgot the thickness I think 3.68mm. Checked thicker and I think it was around 4.5mm. Defiantly open to suggestions. Thanks

I have to add that I not sure how much hogwash this is from the glass companies, I'm sure someone can make the glass but for now if I can find a Toyota product glass I would be happy.

I had my front windshield cut this summer and used a new Toyota gasket. The glass shop didn't mention any issues with glass thickness.

If im not mistaken @FloridaFJ80 will be able to get an oem window for you

The front glass I had replace also, that was an easy one as the gasket was able to fit a slightly thicker glass without any problems.

Will check in that information.
Thanks

another option would be to find non vent window door glass and have them cut down.
the rear radius would be the same and it looks like a straight cut.
