I've been using a small Yeti cooler as I only had my starter battery to power a fridge but now, with a few EcoFlows in the house for power outages, I occurs to me that I could get something to plug the fridge into while stopped for the night. I know nothing about reliability but I do want something compact that will hold things like lunch meats, a little beer, maybe some eggs and cream. Just for me for 1-3 nights. I typically camp in spring and fall.
The rig is not "built" so if there was something that could fit on the passenger seat floor, that might be a good location. I think of the rig as a mobile tent so the second row seats are tumbled forward and I sleep on the floor diagonally or straight if the weather is ok and the tailgate is open. I try to think like a backpacker when I use this rig.
Anyway, I was hoping some of you who have fridges that are small, efficient, reliable, and have some history might offer some advice. I have an open budget but compact size is key. My Yeti is the Roadie and 20L (?) So that's about the size I hope to find. Thanks for any comments, guys.
