Looking for a photo or part number for LX470 headphones/remotes please! (1 Viewer)

Our used 2003 has the port/dealer installed drop down DVD screen with the player in the right rear panel. I think it is port/dealer installed but on the build sheet the only item listed under port/dealer installed is wheel locks.

The rear seat entertainment system wasn't powering up and after checking all the fuse locations I finally found there are 2 dedicated fuses under the glovebox. One is in a proper fuse holder and the other is a hack job with the wire cut and then both ends were crimped with butt connectors and each end connected to the blades of the other fuse! SO now I have power to the screen and player and I inserted my "Goodfellas" test DVD to verify the repair!

I am having a very difficult time finding a part number or photo of the correct remote controls that would have come with the system, I think I may have found the headphones but i can't confirm they are correct.

I ordered the Rear Seat Entertainment System Owner's Manual from Lexus the other day and it showed up in a BIG box!! It has illustrations of the remote control but I don't know if it is generic or the one that came with the LX?

If someone reading this still has their remote and headphones, would you post a photo so I can see what I am looking for?

So were you able to find out what AV company produced your unit. Do you have a picture?
Did you find Lexus branded headphones?

I love a good hunt and man, that one just isn't out there. One reference on clublex to someone finding one on Ebay 6 months ago. Probably going to be your best bet to just keep a search notification there ongoing.

I just figured it was Lexus because it looks like the one in the manual and when you turn it on it has the Lexus logo on startup.

Then I logged into TIS and looked for Bulletins and Install Guides and everything looks like what I got. I found the updated part number for the wireless headphones on a bulletin. I will post the stuff I found. Does any of it look like your unit?

Me too, I love the hunt! That's a big reason when after I left working in the shop at Mercedes, I moved into the Parts Department! So fun to try and find the hard to find stuff that other people give up on!

Mine seems more simple...all right at the unit. it's a Clarion.

I looked at Crutchfield’s website and they have the PDF owners manual.
