The PO decided to put an aftermarket alpine in place of the original radio, which means: no steering wheel controls, no voice interaction, no using the 6 disc. They also didn't ground the thing properly, which means that it whines like a SOB.

Somehow (I'm guessing) when they did that, they undid the ground for all the lower controls in the dash (no hazards etc etc).

Anyhow, long story short, wondering if theres a cheapish way to get a cheap factory replacement that anyone is aware of?

There is a $200+ unit on Ebay.

I've looked and made purchases on two of them, only to be refunded without even an email on car part. I just want the face to fill my empty slot. For the amount of money it's going to take to find one you might be happy re wiring it and getting an axxess to get your steering controls back.
Post a pic of what you got going on.

If you get stuck anywhere along the way or have wiring questions just ask. I spent many months finalizing mine. Now I only need that $300 plastic radio face. lol

Do you have a write up on how you did this? What did you do with the HVAC controls?
