My girlfriend is in the market for an 80. Her budget is going to be low though we are not sure what kind of price range yet (has to sell her civic). Doesn't have to be beautiful Im more concerned about how it runs. Let me know if you know of anything. 62's will also be considered.

Get a 1993 FZJ80 and up. I wouldn't even bother with the early FJ80's with a 3FE :) Way under powered for that big heavy truck. If you're lucky, you can find one with factory lockers.

You got a good woman there ;)

Matt,

I'm selling my 1997 80. It has no mechanical defects, runs perfectly and the engine is in great shape. I also have all the parts to do the 90K service, plus some. I did a rig of ROTW, here's the link:

If it doesn't work, my "handle" is 80krazE. If you do a search, you will find all the info. Let me know if it interests you.

$9000 133,000 miles and a crap load of parts from CDan.

It is still beautiful, runs great. Interior is in great shape, exterior is flawless (except it's missing 2 of the wheel well covers). I was going to take them all off and Rhinolite the entire bottom section/rocker panels, using the two tone paint as my separation point. Jeff (warpdriv) has done it on his rig and was going to help me. Now sadly I have to get rid of her.

thinking about letting my 62 go..
thinking i might want to build an 80. with all of the LC trips i am taking, an 80 would be way more comfortable.. i'm kind of tired of leaf springs as well..
i'm not 100%. i friggen LOVE my truck and she will be a hard one to let go of..
i had her sold once before and last minute pulled out. i'm quite attached..
