Looking for a 4Runner

One of my sons is wanting to pick up a 4Runner. We're looking for a 1996-2002 with a maximum cost of $5k. We're watching the usual outlets, Craiglist, local for sale ads, etc. but I thought I'd toss this out in case anyone knows of one for sale that may not be widely advertised.

does WD matter? 4WD or 2WD?

4WD preferred but may have to settle for 2WD.
