Wanted Looking for a 100 in New England

Hello,

I started out hot and heavy looking for a 1995-1997 FZJ80. I even made some offers on a couple of them and drove there with money in hand, only to find out that there was some hidden issue with them. Needless to say it was disappointing. In the end, it wasn't meant to be.

Onward and Upward! I saw a local 100 for sale and I decided to check it out. Really, the 100 "fits" me better. I'm not really going to ever do serious off road stuff, as much as my middle-aged-fantasy-self thinks I will, I won't. 95% of the time this truck will haul my kid (hopefully it will be around long enough to haul my kids) to skiing, mt biking, beach and other trips. I'll haul stuff with it, tow toys with it and use it for fun.

So, if anyone knows of a low mileage 100 selling for a fair price let me know. I'd like to keep it under 125K miles. I'd like a 2001-2002 if possible, but that's only because of the latch system, I hate installing/uninstalling kid seats! You parents can sympathize I'm sure. Otherwise I'm not too picky about options or colors.

Maintenance records and past history are a must. No rust if possible.

I see dealers with 100K 2002 trucks for 19200. I don't think that's reasonable. It's a 10+ year old gas guzzler with 100k+ miles. There are a few in Jersey that look reasonable to me. (i.e. 2001 103K miles, clean and accident free asking 13900) that seems more in line with that I want, I just don't have time to drive to Jersey.

Long winded post, my bad, but please let me know if you have something that you think might interest me in New England.

Thanks!
Todd

Hello,

I don't think I want to spend more than low teens. i'm probably barking up the wrong tree, but I'm not really looking for any modifications.

Thanks,
Todd

Yeah, there are enough 100's around that I'm going to try and buy one in my area. Although that one you just sent looks good. If only it was 1200 miles closer, I'd go take a look! hahaha!

Thanks,
Todd
