looking for a 03-04 4 runner for under 14K

so bringing my dad to the Fall Gathering is paying off I have finally converted him back to toyota. he rear ended a pick up on the highway going 5 mph in stop and go traffic in his 99 grand cherokee ended up pushing the grill into the radiator and the insurance company totalled it. so now he is looking for a new truck/suv we have a boat and a couple trailers so what ever he got needed to be able to tow them. his top end is 14K so that limits him to a 05 sr5 or an 03-04 limited. there are a few the we have looked at at our local dealers most being 05's that are priced around 17K so we cotinue to look. he would prefer a v8 in that he drives like he still thinks his in his F8 crusader. he has a week left on his insurance provided rental so I am trying to help track down a 4 runner before he gives in to the pul of a 05 grand cherokee. so if you know of any at your local dealership or could send me a link to your local dealerships website. we would be willing to travel 2+ hours if the truck is right. which puts us on a radious of north of boston to Worcester to New Haven . clear as mud right.

anyway agoin we are looking for a 03-05 4 runner v8 if possible for nder 14K

Also keep in mind, the dealerships are hurting bad a vehicle there selling for 18k you could talk them easily down to 13k or 14k or less.

we found a couple services that list the dealersand private sales like car trader. anyway there are 5-8 that fit the bill a couple up at Wellsley and Northboro so we are taking a road trip after breakfast this moring..
you other 2 holigans .... thanks for your input I will take it under advisement.....

There's a really good deal on a low mileage 2k that I've found near Boston. I know it's not in your year range, but it's definitely a nice truck.

thanks guys we just got back from our trip looking at about 5 of the 21 4runners we found that me tthe critera
and ended up buying an 05 with the v8 with only 42,000 on it. was a leased truck. nice truck. boy I now know what engine I will stick int he lv in a few years that i-force v8 is a nice engine.
