No need for headers IME. It doesn't get any simpler, less expensive or trouble free than ramshorns. You will regret any header, especially the over-the-fenderwell type.

I third this as well.

The PO installed firewall headers on mine. I am not happy with them for many reasons; suffice it to say that there was not much of a performance increase, the inner fenders are now hacked and I would rather have had ramshorns.
