I'm looking to purchase the Dobinsons IMS and want an even 3" lift front and back (dont mind back a tad higher).
I am looking to fit 17x9 -25 on 33" tires. Not much added weight besides a tire carrier and 5th wheel mounted on tailgate.
Would this setup achieve what Im going for?
Front spring: C59-314 2.5" lift, stock front end load
Front shock: IMS59- 50574 suits 2.5" to 3.5"
Rear springs: C59- 675V 2" stock load
Rear shock: IMS59- 5075 confort valving.

I see a rear spring that has 3" stock load but im afraid that ride may be to harsh without much weight added.

Welcome to the forum!
Just a heads up on your tire size vs lift: You won't need much over 2.5" for a suspension lift especially if you're not planning on weighing it down with a (literal) ton of armor and gear BUT you will need a BMC (body mount chop/cut).
BMC's are about as common as suspension lifts. Most any shop that's done a lift on a 5th Gen 4Runner or GX has done a BMC. Both the new 4R's and GX's need that done for larger tires.

thanks for the reply. I do also plan on doing BMC, hammered pinch welds.
I see a lot running 2.5, and a hand full of 3". i personally like the look of 3" and talking to dob rep, 3" is fine, 3.5" is where their systems get really stiff and dont actually go to full 3.5.

You won't need to pound down your pinch welds with 33" tires. I was running BFG M/T 285/80R17's (33.8") without needing to hammer the pinch welds.
It wasn't till I went to BFG A/T 315/70R17's (34.4") that I had to tear out the front inner fender liner and pound down the pinch welds and I still get a little rubbing on the fenders.

hey sorry another question, I see a lot of people suggest gearing for 35's, were you regeared for the 33.8"? If or if not, how was it?

2" is the way to go. 3" = less suspension travel, 35s are not worth it, hell 33s are not worth it...

Also, The only good option for 35s IMO is marlin crawler's RCLT which will set you back close to $10k by the time it's all said and done, just for the front lift.

Unless you want to be lugging your engine on every slight grade and hill, going with 35" tires, I'm pretty sure you'll want to regear. Cruse control is suck also because it'll constantly be hunting for gears.
33" tires, that may depend upon how you like the performance, but for sure regear with 35's.
