You may or may not want the original back, but if you do, pull a carfax (may tell the history), try and find it with your VIN at your local DMV (if they will do it, some won't). There are some great options out there if you are looking at restored ones, and I DO RECOMMEND buying it already done, much cheaper in the long term. What years are you looking at, do you want PS, PB, AC,, other? Color is important, why, you may settle for a good deal, but its the wrong color and the vehicle never clicks, so, don't find yourself in a direct TV commercial. Level of restoration,

Are you buying this as a SUNDAY only vehicle where you may only put a thousand miles a year on it, or is this a driver during the good weather months? And finally, PRICE, they seem all over the map, but it is all about requirements 1st, figure out what you all want, then start your search and don't be a settler
