I'm figuring an offer on this dealer 2006 with 171k miles. Toyota has records online but only go up to 122k miles in 2012, after that, nothing. It's been in texas since new.
WP&TB were done at 90, other random stuff here and there.

listed at 16k. opinions welcome.

Great price. Love those wheels with the shadow chrome finish. Definitely refinishing my 05 rims in that soon.

I thought maybe it was a bit much considering no records for 50k miles. maybe I'm wrong. I'm probably going to check it monday.

Price is below average from what I've seen around these parts, especially for a dealer. TB done at recommended time so it's a sign it's been well taken care of. How many owners?

two owners and due for another tb less than 8k miles away

Looks like a good truck, I'd have it inspected for sure. Price seems a little high to me, but that's my gut feeling -- 15k seems better. I have the same color in an '04, bought with 100k last year for 19. Good luck.

Negotiate the second WP&TB into the price since it's almost due.

15.7 OTD, I'm going to check it monday. Seems ok to me.

I bought it, funny thing was I barely touched on hot side heater Tee, and it burst, coolant everywhere. They replaced both tees and one hose. I thought that was a bad sign and almost bailed. But I waited around, went to look at another one at lexus dealer and came back after reapirs and drove it, etc.
needs hood struts, antennae doesn't go up or down all the way. Rust spot rear upper panel close to rear glass. Both bumper covers have been hashed. Needs serious buffing, clay. etc. carpets sh!t. Seat leather good.
But I bought it for what it looked like underneath. It was dry as a bone and no rust to see anywhere. Tie rod, cv covers looked good, U joints etc. Engine bay looked extremely nice. I paid 15.7 and shipped to me for 300, getting it tomorrow.

Congrats! Solid price for an '06 - does it have AHC? Hood struts and antenna are a cheap and easy fix. What's unusual is the rust spot on the rear upper panel when the undercarriage is rust free? I'd take a good look at that area to see where water is getting trapped.

Otherwise, baseline and welcome to the Hundy club!

IM going to post a pic of the rust spot. I've been under it all morning. the underside amazing for 10 years. Or maybe normal for down here. I'm just glad about that. Add a bad battery to the list, another 120$

Looks like you got a pretty good deal. I just traded mine in and got over $17 for an 06 with 156k

Are those rust bubbles or is this a case of really bad paintless dent removal?

they're bubbles. i've been claying it all day and that's it, as a whole. I will take the paint off and see before it goes to the paint guys next week. right now I'm just detailing. looking around and doing fluids and stuff. I'm getting more happy with it. body maybe 8/10. I spend two days claying and waxing new to me cars before I go inside.

i saw it from 20 feet, looked the same as mine. (who knows from afar) There was a deposit on it from Sat. One salesman called me last night late to say that dude didn't show up to buy by the deadline so if I wanted it i should arrive before noon today. (same dude told them he was coming today at noon.
