Anyone in the area want to meet up and represent something other than American muscle cars? It's on Saturday the 13th from 5-8PM, here's a website with more info: http://www.cruisinorlando.com/ It's not off-road or anything, but might be fun

After all it is "cruisin"

Wish I still lived up there I'd be up for it. And especially if I had a 40. Have fun and represent!

It was pretty fun, I had the only Toyota there! The event is monthly, the second Saturday of every month, I would encourage anyone local to go and take part. It's free, no registration, anyone is welcome. Although I did look like a bit of an intruder

Is that a yellow Vega or Opal parked next to you? Cool that you represented.

Nice! Not many car shows in Florida this time of year.

Sometimes Classic car people don't realize how old our cruisers really are.
Cruisers are classics too!

Year before last I was registered to show my 63 Chevy at the Daytona Turkey show. The car had driveshaft failure 30 minutes from home. Had to return home and drive the Cruiser there. They did not want to let me in. It took forever to convince them that the 60 was a classic and was almost 30 yrs old.

Greg......That almost looks like a 74 or 75 Pontiac Astre . Just looking at the front end .

Yeah it was a completely original Astre

even get hard to find a non cut up vega .

There's a reason for that!

I always wonder what the person in charge of picking that name got for 'punishment' for not doing their homework on it ;)

There were about 2 million Vega's made, only about 150K Astre's.

Just as bad is the person that picked the name Nova for a car that was going to be GM's primary car to export at that time.

No-Va in Spanish translates to "it won't go"
