Hey all,

I've been lurking on here for about 9 months now and am finally getting around to my first post. This site has been invaluable as an information source during my search for a new to me hundy. I finally pulled the trigger on a 2000 with 186k last October and couldn't be happier! These things are tanks!! I purchased it mainly as a mountain rig to take hunting in the fall, tow the raft with in the summer, and an occasional daily driver. Due to the plethora of information on this site, I have a list longer than I can remember as to what upgrades I want to make! So far I managed to baseline it, knock off the running boards, plasti dip the emblems, and peel off the cheesy pinstripes. Next on the list are 285/75/r16 Duratrac's, crank the TBs, bead blast and rattle can or plasti dip the wheels, step sliders for the wife and kiddos, roof rack, hitch receiver and wire in the trailer light harness. Thanks to all members on here for the inspiration and know how! Photos to come...(once I figure out how to do that, of course).

Sounds like you're well on the way to making it your own. Keep the posts coming; this site is valuable because so many members come up with, and post, ideas/fixes/work-arounds/solutions.

Thanks for the tip....I'm all over it!

Took her for a ride up the Going to the Sun Road in Glacier on the way home from buying her.

I love how the emblems look now and the running board delete makes such a huge difference in the "rugged" feel.

Looks good! Like the green - don't see many in that color around here. No snow on the ground in Montana?

Congrats on the rig. Looking good.

Thanks. It's been unseasonably warm around here this year. No snow in the valleys, but it sounds like our snowpack in the mountains is still at or above average. Looks like you guys on the East Coast got most of our snow this year!

Thanks. I'm obsessed with it. My wife would agree too. I think she might be jealous.

Yup, 100 inches so far this winter!

Beautiful truck, congrats!

LOL. Same here. Maybe we should start a new :princess: board for wives of members to commiserate so we can all get on with our affairs in peace.
