Hey all,
I've been lurking on here for about 9 months now and am finally getting around to my first post. This site has been invaluable as an information source during my search for a new to me hundy. I finally pulled the trigger on a 2000 with 186k last October and couldn't be happier! These things are tanks!! I purchased it mainly as a mountain rig to take hunting in the fall, tow the raft with in the summer, and an occasional daily driver. Due to the plethora of information on this site, I have a list longer than I can remember as to what upgrades I want to make! So far I managed to baseline it, knock off the running boards, plasti dip the emblems, and peel off the cheesy pinstripes. Next on the list are 285/75/r16 Duratrac's, crank the TBs, bead blast and rattle can or plasti dip the wheels, step sliders for the wife and kiddos, roof rack, hitch receiver and wire in the trailer light harness. Thanks to all members on here for the inspiration and know how! Photos to come...(once I figure out how to do that, of course).
