I'll be heading down on Wednesday evening after werk. Should be into Springfield around 10-11ish depending on the elements in the outdoors. Anyone have a spare bed I could crash in or should I book a room at a Motel 6 using my TLCA discount?

P.S. If someone does have a spare bed/couch/floor space, I'll make it work your while. (TR)

I'm not sure about the park rules. It seems like I saw a few dogs there last year. I would check the Barnwell web page and see what the rules are.

It is a dog-friendly event for friendly dogs only.

Dogs must be under positive (leash or kennel) control.

No matter how sweet it is to you, if your dog is controversial (pit, chow, you should know what makes some folks uncomfortable) or aggressive or a jumper, please leave it at home.

Also be aware coyote activity is high in that area, so night potty breaks need to be on a leash and the dog should have a protected area to sleep or to hang out while you are on the trail.
