Don't mean to intrude, with all due respect IMHO it will not read well from the distance. The best way to see if a logo will work is to reduce it as much as possible. If it is still legible, you've done a good job. Try printing it and stand away from it. I bet most of the type will become blurry.

I think you have a great concept, but the type could use an improvement to improve it's legibility.
