In my opinion the 90 degree locks are the best. Trying to turn a key while holding the lock on the “inline” locks after a bit of gunk is really hard. And I’m not sure if it’s been mentioned but the shank has to be the longer size as I recollect.
 
Gen Y are very nice but I standardized on B&W a long time ago. Both are top tier hitches, Weigh Safe are great as well.
