Does anyone make a locker for my 65 fj40? ARB and Aussies web site shows they only go back to 69. If the short ansewer is no am I stuck with welding it or can I swap out the third member and use my axles or do I need all new internals?

This is for the rear.FYI

Hi All:

IIRC the PowerTrax "Lockrite" auto locker is available in a ten-spline version that should fit the rearend of your '65 FJ40.

Upgrading to the post-68 fine (30) spline rear axles and differential would be a good idea for increased strength and durability.

Good luck!

Alan

Lockright no longer available in the 10 spline. I had one of my WDs call the factory on it.:frown:

You can pick up a set of used newer-year rear axleshafts in the classifieds and then get a fine spline lockright, which will fit in your 65 carrier just fine.

Best

Mark A.
