So my wife lost the only key we had. I need to get in to my truck so I can read the ecu numbers off to my local service director so I can get the new ecu ordered with two new master keys.

If no body is comfortable posting this on a public form I understand, but I need to get jimmy into my own vehicle. If someone knows how to do this can you please pm me.

You can try using a wedge on the window frame and sliding something down to the unlock button. I'd try to hit the unlock by the window controls before I'd go for the handle or lock there.

Careful prying, the valet at the hotel I worked at bent several window frames getting a little too jiggy with the pry wedges.

Yes I actually do. Will give them a call.

^ A visiting friend recently locked her keys in her car in our driveway...AAA had to come out. It was pretty cool, not being up on current relative technology, he had an inflatable bladder that he carefully inserted between the door frame and the body...slowly inflated the bladder and it created just enough of an opening he could get what amounted to a 4' fish tape with hook on the end...to fish the keys out through the opening he created with the air bladder.

It was on a Honda Pilot and apparently a slim-jim, the old standby, wouldn't work...

That's the method he used on my suburban, just pushed the door frame out enough to slip a rod in there to hit the lock button, took about 2 minutes.

Your alarm is likely to go off - if you have the factory one. I know it does on my LX if I lock from the key then unlock from inside.

This is exactly what they did.

Amazing how quick they can get into your car!

I've seen this same thing done before. 2 minute operation. No fuss no muss.

The slim jim and coathanger wire techniques do not work on the 100. Ask me how I know.
Inflatable bladder is a devilish bit of ninja cunning. Like it. Want one.
