location of Coolant temp sensor in 1HD-FTE (1 Viewer)

Anyone know where I can find this? Need to change it as might be the culprit of my limp mode.

Part number is:
89422-35010

Tried to google but cant find any. Also tried the parts diagram but it was pointing where I could not find it.

That being said, I'm not sure where it is on your engine, sorry.

Should be under the intake manifold above and towards the front of starter. Different colours

Thank you for the replies. I'll check under the intake manifold area. Found one left side in the block but that was for the temperature guage. I pulled the wire out and the temp gauge didn't work.

Open the hood. Stand on the left side of the truck, reach your hand straight out in front of you. Fingers almost touching the cross over pipe. Will be right under your hand.

Unplug it and clean with contact cleaner. Careful on the connector clip, I broke mine. Same issue, random limp mode. Cleaned up that connector and the two on the other side just before the cross over pipe. Have not had an issue since.

If you do damage the connector, mine broke very easily, shout as I have been down this road and have a spare sitting on my desk waiting for free time.
