Haha ok fair enough. I only had mine 3 months but have known the cruiser for about 3 yrs.

In the interest of full disclosure, in the time that I owned my LJ78, I never had an issue with the engine although I was never really comfortable with the high water temps. considering the 2L-TE's history.
The LJ78 is in my opinion a fine platform and would be an excellent candidate for an engine swap. Either a Toyota diesel or dare I say, a Cummings.
