Live Oak Destroys Landcruiser

Thought you guys would find this interesting.

Woke up in the middle of the night to a while back to a loud Cracking sound.

A giant branch from a live oak came crashing down right on top of my 1998 LC.

What was incredible to me was the fact that if I had been inside the truck,
I would have been fine . Incredible.

The insurance company was willing to fix it, or total it. I opted to total the truck.

I had 3 more months of payments

I ended up buying a 2003 as a replacement. I will always own a LC, and this is one of the reasons why.

That's impressive. Heavy load with momentum on its side, and minimal deflection. I'd buy another one too

Wow, that's amazing. I had a white oak fall last summer at my home, and fortunately it was on the other side of the house from my two cruisers.

Mine was a 'total' as well. I'll have a 2014 model next September!
