tytone last run with the central fj team...having a ball! expect to be back before tomorrow .morninng ....hard to cvcrawl and type. pics tonight. treeroot almost made the wall at whale rock, but his steering overpowered his tie rod. one of the mad russians lost the bolts from the bottom of the spindle on his ifs runner, but we robbed a bunch off some people's arb bars to keep him running...later for now

off the trail and heading for beer .thanks a ton to the fj trail team for a great year!!! looking forward to seeing you guys again next year.

''if you guys don't lay off, someone's going to get hit''

you forgot the wise guys... gotta have those.

It was a great to to start out with the Central Team at Chinamans Gulch and finish out the year 7 month later on the same trail.

Man the FJ's are capable and it was enjoyable to see Chris stick that last obstacle in the stock yellow fj.

Thats the new independent front steering from irbis offroad. They were testing it out, each wheel can point in different directions.

Interesting. I was just out there Oct. 23 and did Chinaman's Gulch with my front ring gear and pinion missing some teeth.(broke doing the Patriot trail) Maybe we missed part of the trail or something since I don't recall very many obstacles?? (maybe I went around them) Did anyone do Carnage Canyon? I wasn't able to with my messed up front diff. I will be back to Colorado to do Carnage Canyon!

sorry if I hi-jacked this thread.

the two pics are optional lines. the 4 runner is in a rock garden that can easily be bypassed, roots' cruiser bent the rod on the side line of whale rock. other than that, there's the squeeze near the beginning and shep's revenge near the end.
