Line Lock in Lieu of Emergency Break

Hi All,
Love the group, recently joined.
I have been having a bear of a time finding the emergency brake line for my Bundy. The previous owner took her to a mechanic and the guy did a number on this car. Having said that, what are your thoughts on using this as an added precaution since i have no ebrake and Im constantly leaving her in Gear to prevent rolls. Any ideas are welcomed and thank you.

Bundy, Bundeera RJ/LJ70? I would be looking at fixing the brakes. What exactly does that thing do? Does it compress the brake fluid to mimic having your foot on the brake?
Landcruisers will not roll away in low range 1st or reverse gear.

I think you'll find that a park or emergency brake has to be mechanical to pass a WOF inspection.
