I called Hobart direct...
the verdict is, that the tips are PERFECTLY sized for SOLID wire, so perfect, that the flux binds when the tip gets hot.
They recommended upsizing the tip ID as Charles rcommended!
SOOOO I got some .045 tips for my .035 flux core, and had no issues!
That is the final word per the gurus at Hobart!

Here are a couple of welds off my sliders!
Im very pleased now that issue is resolved!

I WISH!
The main body of the sliders are Marlin Crawlers...
He sends the "outriggers" un attached for custom sizing!
I added an extra outrigger making it a total of FOUR supports from the original design of THREE!
